The AED Scholarship Fund
The goal of the AED Scholarship Fund is to raise funds to provide training and education in eating disorders treatment, research, and prevention for the (i) Clinician Scholarships and the (ii) Student/Early Career Investigator Travel Fellowship. Scholarship recipients are provided with support to attend the AED International Conference and gain knowledge to improve the quality of eating disorders care, research, policy and prevention in their communities around the world.
The AED Scholarship Fund is essential to AED's mission to promote excellence in research, treatment and prevention of eating disorders and to provide education, training and a forum for collaboration and professional dialogue.
The contributions to the AED Scholarship Fund supports colleagues from around the globe who might not otherwise have the resources to attend the ICED. As a result, these colleagues enrich their home communities and our professional community. In all, the success of this campaign reflects the ongoing commitment of the AED membership to encourage and support diversity in our membership.
